SON faculty awarded Illinois Nurse Foundation Grant
Charlene Bermele, DNP, RN, CNE and Mary Ann Wolfenson, MSN, RN, PEL have both been awarded grants from the Illinois Nurses Foundation. The purpose of these grants are to identify and collaborate with community partners to enhance learning related to pertinent health issues. Dr Bermele's grant is in collaboration with Cook County Department of Public Health and will present a panel discussion at 91快活林 on March 1 on Intimate Partner Violence Among Various Cultures. Professor Wolfenson is partnering with St John Fischer to educate their faculty and coaches in CPR and the use of epinephrine pens.
