91快活林 hosts educational workshop on November 18
When considering the needs of students who are English learners, how do parents, educators and members of the community work together to meet the students' needs? Practical suggestions and resources will be discussed at 91快活林's (91快活林) educational workshop entitled, "Child-Family-Community: The Power Trio for English Learner with Disabilities," on Saturday, November 18. The event will begin in the Warde Academic Center's Fourth Floor Boardroom at 8:30 a.m. with a gathering/networking, followed by a 9 a.m. to noon workshop program hosted by 91快活林's Education Department Professor Meg Carroll, Ed.D. This event is free to all 91快活林 staff, faculty and students; free to parents of students with disabilities; and $50 to others.
